Call for Abstracts – Special Session for Microwave Industry

APMC2017 seeks presentations from the Microwave Industry. Submission shall be done on-line via EDAS at: http://edas.info/N23178. Please choose “Microwave Industry” track. Presentations are for 20 minute session. Prospective presenters may request an additional 20 minute  (maximum total of 40mins). At least one of the author must be registered, with the necessary registration fee. All approved title and abstract will be incuded in the conference program book.

Authors are only required to submit the followings for approval;

  1. Title,
  2. Abstract/Synopsis (up to 350 words)
  3. Keywords
  4. Presenter.

All submissions shall be written in English. Partipants are also expected to submit their presentation slide in power point /pdf format at a later date to be announced. The deadline for submissions is 30 July 2017.

No full paper submission will be eligible in this case. Further information maybe obtained through email from sponsor@apmc2017.org

Proposals for Workshops and Tutorials

APMC2017 seeks for half-day (four hours) scientific or industrial workshop proposals. The workshops are intended for interactive discussion, practical training, academic formation, dissemination of groups/initiatives of interest, and to maximize industry involvement and exchanges with delegates from academia and research, within the scope of microwave engineering and its applications.

The workshop proposal should describe concisely the content that should contain the following sections:

  1. Workshop title
  2. Topic and goals of the workshop
  3. Outcome of the workshop
  4. Elaborated session content with clear differentiating factors as compared to regular scientific parallel sessions
  5. Presenter biography (no more than 300 words per person)
  6. Expected attendance and target group
  7. Previous lecture and workshop experience of the workshop speaker

Submitted workshop proposal should not exceed SIX pages (A4 size) and it should be submitted in one all-in-one PDF file. The deadline for submissions is May 10, 2017 June 20, 2017. The proposal document should be submitted by email to the Tutorial/Workshop Program Chair, Azremi Abdullah Al-Hadi at wtsession@apmc2017.org

 APMC2017 seeks for two hours scientific or industrial tutorial proposals, which should provide clear and focused teaching material covering new and emerging topics within the scope of microwave engineering and its applications.

The tutorial proposal should describe concisely the content that should contain the following sections:

  1. Title of tutorial
  2. Outline of the tutorial
  3. Brief CV (no more than 300 words);
  4. Importance and timeliness of the tutorial
  5. Previous lecture and tutorial experience of the tutorial speaker.

Submitted workshop proposal should not exceed SIX pages (A4 size) and it should be submitted in one all-in-one PDF file. The deadline for submissions is May 10, 2017 June 20, 2017. The proposal document should be submitted by email to the Tutorial/Workshop Program Chair, Azremi Abdullah Al-Hadi at wtsession@apmc2017.org
